Call to Revolution

“A revolution is coming. A revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough – but a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character, we cannot alter its inevitability...Those who make the peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
– John F. Kennedy

Call to Revolution

Change the “System” not just the “Faces”

Lets Try to Understand Which Government Form is good: Democracy vs. Monarchy
http://revpk.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/monarchy-vs-democracy/

By Revpk

A monarchy is a form of government in which supreme power is held by an individual, who is the head of state; normally he is called as King of the state. His son becomes the king of the state after his death or he can put his father king in jail and declare himself as king.

Justice system in monarchy: Normally what king thinks right is the right justice No one is allowed to go against the wishes of king, its indirect rule that if you go against the king, you will get death punishment. Only religious head and Gurus can guide the king. In monarchy if king is good and educated, smart a state sees the progress. If king is not good or if king is good but addicted to wines and other things he will not be able to do justice to his job.

In ancient times kingdoms were small, when kingdoms were small, kings paid attention to there state and this small state started to do progress. After this a period came when these kings started to capture the other kingdoms, Expansion of kingdom, his state. After this expansion kings started to remain busy in there programs and politics of Capturing other kingdoms, in this way they neglected there population and state. The people who can influence the king started to rob the people of the state with or without the knowledge of the king. Monarchy reached its height of doing wrongs to the population and this encouraged educated people to think and find new type of government system.

And this gave birth to democracy, system of government where principles of liberty equality and justice will prevail. So in monarchy in short we know that now that there is only one king, he is supreme.

What king says is right, people population has to just obey the king, and people have no say in the government or any matter, any policy, without reason people have to obey the king. As well as his supporters .In a monarchy if king is good everything is good, if king is bad everything is bad. Most important point is that in a monarchy people can never throw the king from his thrown. Generation after generation one family rules the kingdom forever . Hereditary rule is often a common characteristic.

In a monarchy people have very limited freedoms, if king likes gambling then gambling becomes legal, if don’t like then gambling becomes illegal. If king don’t like garlic then whole state may be banned to eat garlic. In monarchy everything depends on the mood of the king.

In monarchy, religious leaders, gurus enjoy best life and status, and people have to follow their views also otherwise there is death punishment. In every successful monarchy you can find religious leaders and gurus and kings walk side by side in everything. What the king says is supported by church or mosque or temple and what church or mosque or temple says is supported by king. People of the state have no say in the government. King is god, one and only one person who has right to think, everything depends on his mood. Rule by dictator also comes under the Monarch.

In monarchy normally females are forbidden to rule the state there are exceptions to this rule but they are limited. In monarchy from dressing to eating habits, science everything is decided by king. Monarchy looks very attractive but I will say just for a moment think, will you like to obey your father 100% without reason? Will you like to obey your father’s religious guru 100% without reason? If no, then you should think how you support the monarchy, if you can not obey your father how are you going to obey the king.

Let’s understand Democracy

Until now I am sure you understood how the democracy took the birth. Currently also democracy is growing it has not reach its peak, One day it will reach to its peak may be after 100 years or 1000 years.

Biggest problem with the democracy is that it is very slow form of government, this is reason I think people without thinking anything say that they like and prefer monarchy. Democracy means where a state ruler is chosen by people of the start by way of voting system. There are different types of democracies but finally people choose the state rulers whatever form of democracy they have. Democracy is the best form of government but it is in a beta state, it’s growing.

The Situation in Pakistan

Today if you see Pakistani democracy, I will say it is not democracy but it is just a mob rule that is learning very slowly what democracy Pakistan is a country where 50% Pakistani don’t know importance of voting. So a country where there is no 100% voting, is a baby form of democracy.

About democracy I think we know all so I will not go into details but will change topic here little bit. I feel democracy is the best form of government today it is in a beta form of government where lot of experiments will be done by coming generations after generations. More the people are educated more progress we will see.

What should be real democracy?

A real democracy will be one when every individual will be protected by state for keeping his views and acts which are against state, religion which he will be able to say in the public or publish with the help of state. There will be no banning of books what so ever reason, but there will be debates on those topics and the writer will be challenged by others, this is democracy. Democracy is not the law of the majority but the protection of the minority.

Now let us have a look at condition of Pakistan

Nowadays every Pakistani is talking about the condition of Pakistan and according to them Pakistan is in court of revolution and soon a revolution is about to come due to Pakistani public.

Before starting this discussion about revolution, first let us see what revolution exactly is.

Revolution is not only gathering so many people at one point or people boycotting on roads. But it is a thinking process and revolution is a perception of people. Every country and community has certain objectives and goals and based on those objectives perception develops, and when people starts accepting the perception then no power can stop revolution taking place. That community can easily achieve their goal which changes their thinking and perceptions.

Briefly we can say that revolution is actually changing the way of our thinking which can take particular community towards their goals. If we make our heart free from any sort of fear then none of the power or source can stop us from bringing revolution in our country.

If we look at countries where revolution occurred then we’ll find majority of them had monarchy/ kingdom. From France till Iran and other Arab countries where ever revolution occurred, at places where there was monarchy from a very long period of time, some countries had army rule but people of that country brought revolution. There may be countries with democracy that brought revolution. Now if we look at Pakistan there was never a system of tolerance, Pakistan has always been a democratic country. No doubt time to time we faced army rule. And those army officers also suffered pressure and opposition from public.

Looking at current situation Pakistan has democratic government which has been appointed after public voting. But if we analyze the government and democratic system of Pakistan, it is not less then monarchy. In kingdom/monarchy crown or power remains in same family and that family or person has whole authority and this monarchy transfers from one person to another with in same family.

And this continues for generation after generation, and ordinary person can not ever think of having the authority. Where as in democracy every individual has authority of going in public and people has full freedom of appointing their government through elections. Our democracy is not less than monarchy, Pakistan is always ruled by particular families and power is also transferred within their families. From brother to their younger brothers, from wife to their husband, and in the same manner power remain in hands of particular people.

And these people get victory in elections like this country is their own property. Common people always suffer in their monopoly. And common man can never ever think of standing in elections.

Therefore there should be revolution in Pakistan which diminish all this ruling forces and develops democracy in its real sense. And at least common man should also have some rights to take decision for their country.

In current situation majority of Pakistanis wants revolution to come but their fear builds a wall between them and revolution. The day when this wall of fear would be broken or removed from our hearts no power of world can stop us from bringing the revolution. Very soon with God’s blessing Pakistan will bring positive change and Pakistani people will get rid of this slavery forever.

http://revpk.wordpress.com/2011/03/07/failure-of-conspiracies-era-of-revolt/

It all started when the so-called faithful establishment of Pakistan started maneuvering the country in its very own dictatorial way. Starting from the creation of the feudal political system of the ruling elite which resulted in the fall of East Pakistan to the turning point of the Afghan Jihad until the creation of the religious political alliances which resulted in the chaotic conspiracy of Jinnah pur that almost destroyed the country’s unity. Every policy and every strategy made in the name of serving Pakistan was in reality made to chop the roots of it. We lost East Pakistan then we became slaves of the global satanic game in the name of Jihad. Pakistan became the centre of terrorism and global ghost wars. We lost our Kashmire cause in the wild woods. Poverty engulfed our cities and all means of corruption became the last hope of our society for survival. Crimes and injustice became daily life and above all, we found ourselves trapped in the cage of Talibanization. Everything went wrong. This was the result of trying to derive the country by few minds sitting in the air-conditioned sound proof rooms of the luxurious cantonments instead of letting the people of Pakistan decide what they want.

Pakistan is burning out. It is like a flame of a fuel, the ingredients of which are the elements of conflicted ideologies, pre-historic tribal customs, feudal system and the blood of its innocent citizens, ignited by the trigger of conspiracies designed by its own saviors and defenders of the country.

The originators of all the sinful and shameful internal and foreign policies are those corrupt military heads who ruled the country for 35 years directly and maneuvered the system in their own way to fulfill their lust for power and whenever they left the power, it was transferred it in the wrong hands to keep their dirty game going.

The main reason behind this dirty game was to keep full control over national wealth and everything else that would have been utilized to develop the country and that was only possible to run the system with the aid of elite and feudal class as these classes are never affected by poverty and are resourceful, powerful.
Faces changed but the system remained the same.

Starting from Air Marshall Ayub Khan to the last military dictator, Musharraf, every army take over brings disaster over disaster to the country. Sometimes it is in the form of roti capra makan slogans by the ruling elite and Bhuttoism and its unfair rule and atrocities against the people of this country. From the hot spot of Baluchistan to the fall of Dhaka and then when it’s all over, another military dictatorship injecting the poison of Afghan Jihad and drugs and weapons and religious conflicts, ethnic divide and its fake theories of Khalifat and so on, in the veins of young Pakistanis and when the system is completely under control and matured enough to be able to move itself, the ball is thrown in the court of feudal democracy which can only respond in one way and that is, keep placing smooth or we will smash! People of Pakistan are never given a chance to serve. This is how the favorite game of tennis is being played in Pakistan by the elite.

Every dictatorship lasts until the nation is enough distorted and paralyzed to be able to resist and rise for a revolt. Pakistan passed by many chances of revolution many times silently. These hopes of revolution were given by the military rulers and their feudal successors to the poor and simple Pakistanis. The majority is illiterate and immature to understand that they are always forced to think in one particular way.

Distorted and hopeless by the call of a mega revolution during the Afghan Jihad when the nation was manipulated and fooled by the fantasy of a regional Islamic mega revolution that would free Kashmire, split India and make the Muslim India and Afghanistan a province of the Islamic empire of greater Pakistan resulted in nothing but a horrible nightmare of an era of terrorism and suicide bombing in our own country which no one would have ever imagined.

Wounds were not healed but minds were setting free and people were recovering to be able to start thinking freely…and here comes the mule of CJ movement and the romance blossoms and there is a turn on but riding the mule came the same old feudal politicians and the result was another occupation. It was another trap for Pakistan.

A psychological trauma the whole nation has been put through in recent years. Now if you ask someone on the street, he will tell you that no it is not possible that we have a revolution in Pakistan because every time it just “fails”, that’s how common man is thinking and now people are again looking forward towards an army rule and that is how few corrupt major generals want us to think and want the whole Pakistan army to think.

But our soldiers think? Certainly the soldiers are poor, patriot and an honest force of more than a million Pakistanis given birth by brave mothers of poor Pakistan.

The soldiers of Pakistan must stand by with the people of Pakistan in this revolution that will be the key factor in the success of it because our soldiers are also victimized by this occupation. Pakistani soldiers must join hands with the civilians and take part in the revolution.

Behind every dark night lies the sunshine of a new morning. The ray of hope is seen in the eyes of the youth and the soldiers of this country who have rejected all the conspiracy theories of the enemies of Pakistan. The enemy of Pakistan is the feudal elite and a few corrupt major generals.
Youth must come out on the streets and take revenge from these evil designers. The feudal system must be crushed. Pakistani must be set free before it is too late.

The Army should back the revolution and stand up with the revolutionaries instead of taking the orders of few corrupt major generals. There is no other choice for them. They must align their minds and hearts with the people of Pakistan.

The youth of Pakistan has to come out and take over the country. The future is in their hands. Only they can hold it. The 65% youth of Pakistan believes that ethnic and sectarian divided is not what they wanted and is not what Jinnah wanted.

It is the time for the students, soldiers, professionals, civil society and the common people to get united to bring the ultimate change before it is too late.

Strong street protests are required. Marches and rallies and non stop revolution rallies.

The global wave of revolt is on so why should Pakistani society remain silent. Survival from the record-breaking poverty inflation and unemployment has made Pakistan a nightmare for its people. If the general public remain sleeping and waiting for their fate, Pakistan may collapse. The civil society should now come out on the streets, Why are they silent now?.

The common man is helpless. Now it is clear that only we can stand up for ourselves. Pakistanis youth must unite and speak up, forgetting their ethnic and political differences, join the movement of revolution.

With the failing conspiracies, Pakistani people must come out to start a new era of revolt in Pakistan.

We must not fall into another dark age of anarchy.

Arab World: Between Democracy and Monarchy- By Y. A. Shuaib
Yushau A. Shuaib yashuaib@yashuaib.com

This article by Yushau A. Shuaib has been widely published in national newspapers and online media in March 2011. He was also in a team to evacuate Nigerian citizens from the trouble spots in some of the countries.
The crises ravaging some Arab countries due to the political crises instigated by a young Tunisian graduate who burnt himself have been in the front burner. The unprecedented protests and demonstrations following Mohamed Bouazizi’s self-immolation in protest against police corruption and ill-treatment in Tunisia have continued to vibrate in the Muslim World of the North Africa and the Middle-East.
Surprisingly most of the countries that are hard-hit by the nationwide protests had sit-tight leaders who have outlived their usefulness in political systems that they claimed were democratic. The protests are largely about the need for democratisation rather than on high rate of unemployment or poverty level, except in Tunisia, where poor economic environment was a major factor for the revolution.
Democracy is recognised as a system of government in which the people, through consensus or representations exercise equal control over issues affecting them as the citizens. Equality and freedom have been identified as important characteristics of democracy. The Mohamed Bouazizi’s self-immolation in Tunisia on December 18, 2010 marked the beginning of what is now tagged the ‘Revolution’ or ‘Days of Rage’ in the Arab World. The incidence was followed by nationwide protest forcing the ousting of President Ben Ali and the resignation of Prime Minister Ghannouchi while political prisoners were released. The nationwide demonstration in Egypt forced President Hosni Mubarak to resign with a set of army officers leading the new cabinet.
Similar incidences occurred in Algeria with major protests and road-blockings forcing the government to lift about two decade state-of-emergency imposed on that country. While President Saleh of Yemen promised not to seek re-election in the next election coming up in 2013, President Assad of Syria was quick to announce major reforms for political participation of the citizenry in government. Libya’s situation is dicey as the country continues to witness armed revolt and rebels’ occupations of major cities, turning the agitations into bloody and deadly confrontations between rebels and pro-Ghadafi after the resignation of top officials of government. While those leaders claim to be democrats, their Executive Powers are constitutionally linked to a single political movement in their respective countries which influence their dictatorial tendencies.
Meanwhile in the same Arab World are countries that practice constitutional monarchy and yet their people enjoy the best of amenities and have high-standard of living. Monarchy is a form of government in which supreme authority is vested in a single individual and usually hereditary figure whose powers can be absolute or acts as ordinary figurehead. Though there are strict hereditary successions in some system, elective monarchies are found in some countries where an assembly of king-makers elects a new monarch out of a pool of eligible candidates. The Vatican is a clear example of this where the Pope, sovereignty of the Vatican City, as the head of State and the head of the Catholic Church, is elected by the College of Cardinals.
A concept of constitutional monarchy is ascribed to modern kingdoms including that of United Kingdom. Absolute monarchy like in the Vatican is retained in Arab world and is practiced in Brunei, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and United Arab emirates. The monarch or the Head of Government in this regard personally exercises power in concert with other institutions.
But looking at Arab countries that have constitutional monarchies, sometimes with absolute power bestowed on the rulers, they still have better systems with exciting welfare packages and favorable working environment where foreign investors and immigrants are proud to call second homes. We can associate those stable monarchies with their peaceful and tourist cities like Mecca, Dubai, Amman, Kuwait, Jiddah, Doha, Rabat among others that witness large influx of foreign investors and immigrants who eke out living from the conducive environments. The economies of those countries are more stable and better than most countries in Africa and Asia that practice democracy.
Some monarchs, due to the current agitations in their regions, have conceded to provide more economic incentives and political reforms to further improve the well-being of their people. King Abdullah of Jordan was smarter as he sacked his Prime Minister after a minor demonstration and promised to undertake more reforms. The Sultan Qaboos of Oman announced major economic concession. King Abdullahi of Saudi Arabia on return to his country from medical treatment approved huge financial packages to stimulate the economy and provide more welfare to the people. While King Mohammed VI of Morocco provides Political concessions, King Hamad of Bahrain agrees to more economic concessions and improvement of welfare of the people.
Some of those Arab countries, apart from their professed religion of Islam have huge oil reserves. They are among most-developed economies in their respective continents. Their exchange rates are stable and have high per capita income and gross domestic products (GDP). Apart from having relatively high Human Development Index, they are classified as high-income developing economies. Their investments at home and abroad are shining examples of how a government should serve the interest of its people and environments with stable power supply, flow of potable water, superb health facilities, standard educational system, cultural and political stability, good transportation, enviable housing schemes, buoyant economy and financial prudence that are attested to by global financial institutions.
For an average African or Asian or even from particular European nations who lives in poverty-ridden and corrupt-infested society, any form of government could be welcomed if it could provide the basic necessity of life and good standard of living with resources to meet basic human needs.
